Real Madrid Women needed two late goals to turn a 1–1 scoreline into a 3–1 away victory over Sevilla on 1 November. The club’s report dated 1 November confirms that finishes in the 86th and 88th minutes secured Madrid’s third away league win of the season.
Felicia Schröder opened the scoring in the 12th minute and Xenia Barrios equalised in the 32nd. The match remained level for most of the second half before Arianna Caruso restored Madrid’s lead. Lineth Beerensteyn added the third two minutes later. Madrid’s report also records two efforts against the woodwork before Caruso’s breakthrough, adding context to the long wait for another goal.
A seventh win keeps the gap narrow
ESPN’s match record lists 28 Madrid attempts, including 14 on target, against nine Sevilla attempts. The visitors reached 22 points from nine games, two behind Barcelona in the standings. The points were important to the chase, even though the two-goal margin emerged only near the end.
