Barcelona Women beat Badalona 4–0 on Sunday, 1 November, in the ninth round of Liga F. Kerolin scored early and added another after the break, according to ESPN’s match record, contributing half the goals in Barcelona’s eighth win from nine league games.

Her opener arrived in the fifth minute, but the lead remained at one until Caroline Graham Hansen converted a penalty in the 61st. Kerolin added her second four minutes later, before Clàudia Pina completed the scoring in the 75th. Three goals therefore came after the hour; the eventual margin should not be mistaken for a comfortable four-goal advantage throughout the contest.

The wider position

ESPN recorded 21 Barcelona attempts and nine on target, against Badalona’s seven and four. Barcelona reached 24 points, two ahead of Real Madrid, in the table following Sunday’s matches. Their season scoring record now stands at 36 for and four against. Those are cumulative league figures, not statistics from this fixture alone.
