Defending champions AS FAR open their CAF Women’s Champions League campaign against Uganda’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies on Monday, 2 November, under the Group B programme in CAF’s announcement published on 1 November. The announcement names Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa among the eight finalists; they face Mali’s USFAS Bamako in the group’s second opening fixture.
AS FAR versus Kawempe is scheduled for 14:00, followed by USFAS versus Ampem Darkoa at 17:00 Egyptian time. Jerusalem uses the same time on this date. These are announced kick-off times, not match results or confirmed starting line-ups.
Title holders and tournament newcomers
CAF identifies AS FAR as winners in 2022 and 2025, while Kawempe are making their first finals appearance. The top two teams progress to the semi-finals on 11 November, with the final scheduled for 15 November in Ismailia. The format gives the group campaign significance beyond one opening fixture; a club’s previous titles or debut status does not establish the outcome before play.
