Marc Guéhi called for additional action against racism while questioning whether taking the knee before games had lost some of its impact, ESPN reported on 19 October.
The Manchester City defender spoke ahead of the AEK Athens fixture. His comments concern the effectiveness of anti-discrimination measures and the need to strengthen them, rather than opposition to the goal of combating racism.
