Six return matches complete the CAF Champions League second preliminary round on Sunday, 25 October 2026. CAF’s programme published on 22 October includes ties with substantial first-leg margins and others that remain level. This is a guide to the position before kick-off, not a report of Sunday’s results.

Three teams carry clear first-leg leads

Simba host 15 de Agosto after a 6–1 away win. Colombe lead Teungueth 2–0, while Al Hilal Omdurman also hold a 2–0 advantage over Sidama Bunna. Those figures describe the first legs; they do not make the return matches completed outcomes. The two-leg overview keeps qualification pending until the tie is settled.

Two level ties and a one-goal deficit

ASEC Mimosas face Maghreb Fès following a 1–1 draw. TP Mazembe and Club Africain also drew 1–1 before the return in Tunisia. Nouadhibou host San Pedro after losing the opening match 2–1, so the Mauritanian side begin one goal behind on aggregate. A points table cannot explain these positions: each pair of results must be compared under the competition’s deciding rules.

First-leg records supporting the comparison: Simba, Colombe, Al Hilal, ASEC–Fès, Mazembe–Africain, Nouadhibou–San Pedro.

Kick-off times in Jerusalem

At the source check on the morning of 25 October, Simba were scheduled for 15:00, Colombe for 17:00, Al Hilal and ASEC for 18:00, and Club Africain and Nouadhibou for 19:00, all in Jerusalem time. Organisers may amend fixtures, so check the daily schedule before kick-off. These times use the timezone offset applicable on the match date rather than one fixed offset for the entire season.

What the places lead to

The tie winners advance to the group phase, whose opening matches are scheduled for 27–29 November in CAF’s official calendar. A first-leg lead, confirmed qualification and a future group position are separate things; none should be presented as if it were another.
